As a Sales Support, you will be an essential part of our sales team, supporting the sales of our self-developed outdoor mobile robots. We have invented, patented, and developed our own mobile robot platform and are ramping up sales activities, and scaling our business across Europe , the United States, and Asia. We are experiencing major international growth, and we are looking for a new commercial resource to assist in facilitating this growth. Expect to get hands-on from the get-go.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Sales Support we are looking for will be the anchor person for the entire sales process starting with the preparation of our quotations and ending with the delivery to the customer. This includes:

  • Preparing quotations
  • Taking care of order receipts
  • Registering the purchase order in our ERP system
  • Confirming the purchase order to our customer
  • Coordinating customer orders in cooperation with the production department
  • Coordinating the shipment of customer orders in cooperation with the logistics department
  • Ensuring that the delivery is well received by the customer

The position will also involve:

  • Daily support of partners and end customers concerning orders, deliveries, commercial, and technical topics.
  • Supporting the CCO concerning following up on new customer leads. This includes sending out introductory emails, organizing meetings, and distributing information and presentation material.
  • Support concerning exhibitions – both with regards to the preparations leading up to the exhibitions as well as the the important follow up on leads afterwards
  • Supporting the CCO concerning the development of our sales and distribution network.
  • This includes desktop work and research in:
    • Finding new potential distribution partners
    • Finding new potential integration partners
    • Finding new potential end customers

You will also be a key person in managing and developing our CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A commercial background is required.
  • Experienced MS Office user is required.
  • Strong English proficiency: fluent both verbally and in writing.
  • A second language (German, French or Spanish) would be advantageous.
  • Experience with the use of an ERP system would be advantageous.
  • Experience with the use of a CRM system would be advantageous.

  • You like to get things done and get them right the first time. You have a good eye for details without losing perspective. A true hands-on person, who is motivated by getting things structured right and delivered in the right quality.
  • A very service-minded person, who loves to work with international partners and customers.
  • Commercially oriented and preferably with experience in internal or external sales in a similar position.
  • As a person, you are an extrovert and not afraid to pick up the phone to clarify potential misunderstandings or ask a few extra questions to ensure that you are aligned with the customer or the internal team.
  • You think before you speak and like to operate in a challenging environment where things may change rapidly, and market penetration/growth is the target.
  • You have an international mindset and work well within a multicultural community both internally and externally.
  • Technical interest will be an advantage.
