As a robotics engineer, you will be an essential part of our Service & Support department, working with our self-developed mobile robots. We have invented, patented, and developed our own mobile robot platform and are ramping up sales activities, and scaling our business across Europe, the United States, and more. We are foreseeing major growth in the coming months, and we are looking for the right person to help facilitate this process. Expect to get hands-on from the get-go.
About the position
The candidate we are looking for will be working with the entire process from the robots leaving the production and until our customers are satisfied. This includes:
- Being a super user of the robot platform
- Troubleshooting and debugging
- Quality insurance and testing of the robot functionalities
- Assistance in integration
- Customer contact
- Service and support of the robots
- Co-creation of knowledgebase documentation.
- As the robots are used worldwide the job will require some traveling.
Qualifications
- Sc. degree or similar in the field of robotics, automation, or related.
- Ability to understand complex systems
- Strong English proficiency: fluent both verbally and in writing.
- Troubleshooting expertise
- Experience with robotics
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Driver’s license
- Flexibility regarding travel days
Some advantageous qualifications
- Electrical and Mechanical dexterity
- Proficient in at least one OOP programming language, preferably, C++ or Python
- Experience working and developing on Linux platforms.
- Knowledge/experience with Docker
